Inspired by memories of making homemade ice cream while growing up on a dairy farm and tasting many homemade ice creams during family travel, we wanted to share that same excitement and happiness with others. After a few years of attending many ice cream courses, seminars, conventions and hands-on experience at Cayuga Lake Creamery, we finally turned our memories into reality and opened Dippity Do Dahs, our brick-and-mortar shop on Memorial Day of 2013.

Since then, we’ve become the area’s premier homemade ice cream shop located on historic Market Street in downtown Corning, NY. Whether it’s the smell of a homemade warm waffle cone, cookies baking as you enter our shop or the variety of samples you enjoy before finally deciding on a flavor, in every visit you’ll create a memorable experience. We pride ourselves in specializing in 22 Signature flavors and many fun Seasonal quality homemade ice creams along with sorbets, vegan and no sugar added options made in our shop. We offer other delicious frozen novelties such ice cream cookie sandwiches, ice cream cakes, ice cream cookie pizzas and holiday ice cream pies. And if you want something quick to go, we offer our Signature flavors in a pint or quart.

Not only are our services just in-store, but we also offer catering services for parties, weddings and more! We also love working together with local community organizations in fundraising and “create your own” flavor events.
